9-24-25   THOUGHTS

We read a most practical summary of life this morning.  The unchangeable nature of God and Christ in our lives affects us so powerfully.  God is our helper... no fear!  The fellowship of love is to permeate all parts of our living.  A number of right behaviors are listed here.  Love of money and stuff are not to overcome us!  We are to learn to be CONTENT!  Aren’t we fortunate that Jesus is the same ALWAYS?  Eternity is here!    

Heb 13:1-8  ESV   Let brotherly love continue.  2  Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. 3  Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body. 4  Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. 5  Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." 6  So we can confidently say, "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?"  7  Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith.  8  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Our Prayer:
We praise You and honor Your great name, O unchangeable God.  Our eternity makes sense in You, our Father God.  You are the source of our hope, the desire of our love.  Guide our steps to follow Your way. Make us content in You.  Help our thoughts to take on actions in our lives. We would be real, O God, in every aspect of our being.  Thank You for being the God that You are, and for Jesus our Savior.  In His name,   Amen.
